Athens, 1927. The Jazz Age
On Midsummer's night, lovers Hermia and Lysander flee from the strict laws of the city. Close behind them are Helena and Demetrius. Demetrius follows Hermia for love, Helena chases Demetrius, but in the forest they encounter magic, mischief and mayhem.
Shakespeare's tale of feuding fairies, amateur theatricals and the triumph of love is vividly told with charm, humour and live jazz music.

Critical Acclaim

In a darkened site-specific venue, youthful Not Cricket Productions stages with great enthusiasm and promising dramatic skill a very tongue-in-cheek Victorian melodrama...splendidly atmospheric and cleverly-staged
— The Stage, 2015
Not Cricket Productions have created a family treat which certainly does not drag-on
— The Edinburgh Reporter, 2015
Truly exhilarating...a beautiful story, told with believable acting and a truly resonant message, an old tale for modern times
— Fringe Guru, 2015
High-energy, gleeful and self-deprecating
